The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
