The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
