Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
