The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
