The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
