The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
