The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
