Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
