Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
