Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the chargers panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
