The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
