Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
