The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
