The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
