The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
