Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
