The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
