Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
