The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
