The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
