Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
