The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
