The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
