The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
