Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
