In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
