The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
