The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
