The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 Raging Fire. 11
