The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
