The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
