In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
