The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
