The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
