The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
