The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
