The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
