The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A burning fire. 11
