Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
