The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
