The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A burning fire. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
