The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
