The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
