The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
