Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God), 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
