Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 till you reached the grave. 2 You shall know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
