Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 until you visit the graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
