Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
