Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
