Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
